Friends of Jupiter Beach is proud to announce that we have partnered with Els for Autism Adult Services Program! Els for Autism is a game-changing resource, delivering and facilitating programs that are leading examples of what can be available to people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
The Community Access Training at Els for Autism Adult Services Program, is offering Beach Clean Ups for their students along with Friends of Jupiter Beach. This program provides learning experiences in the community for adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities who have completed high school.
These Beach Clean Ups will follow the same procedures/guidelines we typically follow, including raffles and snacks! This is a small group from The Els program and we would very much like to have 20-25 additional volunteers attend.
Our goal is to make this feel like a real community event for this group along with continuing to keep our beaches dog friendly, environmentally clean and healthy!
We will be meeting at Ocean Cay Park from 10:30am – 12:30pm on:
